Taylor DeCastro

I’m a New York–based media producer and content creator with a background in video production, digital storytelling, and social media. I’m a graduate of SUNY Cortland, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Media Production with a minor in Cinema Studies and Communications.

My work spans both studio and field production, with experience creating photo and video content for marketing departments, digital platforms, and live events. I’ve worked as a photographer, videographer, editor, and production assistant across sports, entertainment, and campus media, gaining hands-on experience in everything from concept development and shooting to editing and distribution.

I’ve held leadership roles in student media organizations, including serving as Vice President of Cortland State Television, where I supported live broadcasts and managed digital content. I’ve also contributed to film festivals, production companies, and brand-focused teams, collaborating with creatives to deliver engaging, polished content under tight deadlines.

I’m passionate about visual storytelling that connects people—whether that’s capturing behind-the-scenes moments, producing feature-driven content, or creating social-first videos that feel authentic and dynamic. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being part of collaborative teams that bring stories to life.
